CELLS welcomes Rainer M. Jacobus as a new member of its advisory board
CELLS expands its advisory board with Rainer M. Jacobus, the long-standing CEO and now Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the IDEAL Insurance Group.

Rainer M. Jacobus
In addition to his many years of experience in real estate investment, Rainer M. Jacobus brings outstanding expertise in project financing and an exceptional network within the German insurance industry to his future advisory role at CELLS. He will support CELLS in establishing itself even more strongly as a partner for property owners in the conversion and revitalisation of properties that are no longer or very difficult to let.
A prominent example of such a current conversion project by CELLS is the renovation of the Lateral Towers in Frankfurt am Main: a 45,000 square metre office property is being converted into one of Germany's largest secondary schools for around 3,500 pupils.
Dr Christian Elleke, Chairman of the Advisory Board, and Jan Trenn, CEO of CELLS, are delighted with the new addition: "We are very proud and consider it recognition of our work at CELLS that another prominent representative of the German financial sector has joined the CELLS team. Our first joint activities with Rainer M. Jacobus have shown us that he not only brings excellent real estate expertise and an exciting network to the table, but is also a great person who fits perfectly into our already high-calibre advisory board."
Rainer M. Jacobus is also looking forward to working with the CELLS team: ‘What immediately appealed to me about CELLS was their great passion for real estate and their constant focus on the question of its long-term use, with users always at the centre of all planning. I am very excited to be involved in such projects, to be able to open a door or two and to support them with my experience.’
In addition to Rainer M. Jacobus and Dr Christian Elleke, the CELLS advisory board includes Dr Holger Hatje, Hans-Jürgen Kulartz and Dr Christian Nunn.
