Flight through the Chloroplast
| Description |
Flying toward the chloroplast, the stacked-coin structure of the grana thylakoids and the flat shape of the stroma thylakoids are evident. They are interspersed with lipid droplets (yellow). Having reached the interior of the chloroplast, the Flight continues toward a large starch grain (white). At the end of the virtual Flight the plastid DNA (genetic carrier substance, violet) can be seen.
